It's a Rough Life

Yesterday was my first time ever racing on a motorcycle* and I LOVED it. We had the 'Honda Hillbilly Nationals,' which means my dad made some fun tracks on the property, we all qualified according to a timed lap, and then raced little Hondas in three classes: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. Almost my entire family raced, including my mom {that's her qualifying, above} !! I have a TON of videos to edit, so I'll show you more later! :) I'm pretty sore today. I don't know it that's due to riding, running crazily around the track cheering others on while they raced, or the 8:30 am {painful, steep hill-filled} run my sister made me do yesterday! After the racing we had an awesome BBQ/party on the porch.. I had my share of cheeseburger, chicken, corn on the cob, not to mention beer, brownies and min n chip ice cream! {Needless to say a mini-nap ensued}

I'm glad today is laid back. Maybe I'll go bake something. Maybe go for a put-put {our name for a relaxed little motorcycle ride} . Right now I think I'll see if I can round up someone to play a game with. Ahh, life is rough when you're on vacation in beautiful North Idaho with your favorite people in the world! :)

*Strange considering my dad raced professional Motocross and Supercross, and we grew up going to the desert riding/driving all manner of motor vehicles!
