They had the best scones I have ever tasted, and some delightful melon coolers..
Plus I loved my tea saucer- blue roses! Swoon. And their chandelier was fun too.

Thankful Thursday: Bok Bok

Thankful!

For my fantastic tattoo artist. And my new Chicken, who Micah thinks should be named Tallulah (I'm leaning toward Henny Penny.)

For the fun I had with a couple friends and some hair dye. Bleachy white surfer highlights on one golden blonde, and pretty brown plus peachy strawberry blonde mixed into the existing ash blonde on another. Much love! You guys look great. I'm jealous (I'm recently allergic to most hair dyes so haven't done much with my color in a while.)

For friendships, new and old. Casual and deep. They fortify me.

For yummy wine.

For a steady paycheck.

For my new unexpected splurge from this week: four brand new tires (my first time ever buying these for myself- usually I get the cheapest mismatching used ones!)

For my mom and dad and their love, support and inspiration.

For the internet, and how much easier it makes our lives.

For yoga. It has (and continues to) changed my life and body.

For my PLP's upcoming wedding. I know it will be the best wedding I ever go to.

My New Haircut!

I can never wait to be around a good photographer for hair pics... it will have grown out by then!
So bear with my myspace-esque bathroom photos of my new haircut. I love it!
Sassy, but not too extreme. I've finally faced my fear of someone else getting near my head with shears.

Thankful Thursday

Thankful!

~I finally tried the 'put your wet nails under cold water to make them dry faster' tip and it works!

~An old friend who was thought to have moved to another state is back in Cali. Hooray!

~Counting down the days til Idaho for my first Thanksgiving there (and I get to meet Andrea's BFF, and my cousin's precious baby girl!)

~That there is still love and friendship between Shawn and I. Removing the labels from our relationship has definitely improved it.

~Pandora. I'm in love with my 'I've Got The World On A String' radio!

~Delicious beer and whiskey. They ease the pain of a long work day.

~Party Smarts. They make the next day not hurt so much.

~Wild flowers from the farmers market that I've had for about a month. They've dried into beauties!

~My full fridge. Blessed with a full belly.

~My job. It's a roller coaster. But I'm learning, and I'm surrounded by quality people. And I can pay my bills.

~The delicious Thai spicy noodles and Hawaiian fried rice leftovers that will be my dinner tonight.
