Usually to break a habit, you need something to replace it with.

Reading a book Staring at a screen
Embracing daily life Waiting to be happy
Helping friends Asking them to do things for me
Thoughtful purchasing Impulse splurging
Loving and accepting myself Thinking I'm boring
Eating when hungry, stopping when full Eating when thirsty, cleaning my plate
Freshening up my home Being bored with my home
Loving and appreciating my body for being able Resenting my body for not being perfect
Expecting to succeed at work Beating myself up over my challenges
Bringing a smile with me everywhere Waiting for reasons to smile
